About Generation of Art Nouveau
Generation of Art Nouveau is a company created by an independent artist from Philadelphia, PA. The company was created to ease the struggles of the visual artist trying to promote oneself and receive acknowledgement for their work by forming a platform to promote their talents, not just to family and friends, but to galleries, art critics, and art lovers through good old-fashion art books.
In creating these art books, Generation of Art Nouveau provides an opportunity for the talented artist to showcase their art from small town galleries to the entire world; we are looking for various types of art that show creativity to the ultimate level. We are looking for artwork from anywhere, about any subject. Simply stated: we are looking for artwork that the world needs to see.
Generation of Art Nouveau missions are to provide artists with publication and purchasing opportunities, reignite passion for art, and bring back the love for coffee table books. Due to the drastic economic change across the globe, purchasing of art has been minimized and what we inspire to do here is create a way for the artist to become more accessible to the art world and create more potential purchase opportunities of artwork and acknowledgement of the artists' talent.
Ileana Marie Johnson is a Philadelphia artist born in the city of "Sisterly Affection" in October 1984. Ms. Johnson graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 2002 and then attended Arcadia University with a major in Art. After a year, she transferred to Temple University where she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor in Communications with a major in Public Relations. Ileana Marie has recently created Generation of Art Nouveau for the fellow artist to reveal their talents to the world via good old-fashion art books. Ms. Johnsons' mission is to create art history books with todays artist in the book and to be viewed by the world through the prestigious effort of being published in an art book. These books will strive to be more than just art books, but as a resource for art majors, galleries, and art buyers.
